# Looking Back: The Curious Case of 3i/Atlas - Normal Comet, or Something More?

On July 1, 2025, a survey telescope in Chile flagged an object moving through our solar system on a trajectory that could not have started here. Designated 3I/ATLAS, it is only the third confirmed interstellar visitor ever detected and the fastest on record. 

NASA and the broad majority of astronomers classify it as a natural comet that poses no threat to Earth. Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has argued publicly that its path and behavior are improbable enough to justify considering a technological origin, a hypothesis he frames as a thought experiment.

So what is actually true about this object? That question has been buried under noise. Coverage chases the craft angle because it travels, forums and prophecy channels have already decided what it is, and even careful observers are struggling to separate measurement from speculation.

That is exactly what we wanted to test. Before the object made its closest approach to the Sun, Daz Smith, Edward Riordan, Dick Allgire, and Nyiam Vendryes each worked the target under double-blind conditions, sessions submitted before anyone knew the cue. What came back was specific, and in one case a viewer identified the target mid-session and set the data aside on principle. The analyst's call on what it all means is the part worth reading.

## Viewer Findings

### **Daz Smith**

- Opened with an energy ideogram: release of energy, past-oriented target, subatomic impressions.
- A male life form with halo-like energy around the head; non-local, telepathic communication; time felt "dispelled."
- A network of micro-wormhole vortices emanating from the figure, a Fibonacci-type spiral, travel points, gateways and doorways into other realms and dimensions.
- Explicit in-session ties to ancient esoteric systems, chakras, human energy pathways, and Eastern mythologies.
- Paused mid-session to ask the tasker whether to continue or restart; no response arrived in time.
- Post-feedback, flagged his own exposure: his social feeds were saturated with 3I/ATLAS craft claims and prophecy content at tasking time.

### **Edward Riordan**

- Perspective of looking down through a thick lens at something hidden below a surface, underwater or buried; sonar-like detection; compared the feel to the Baltic Sea anomaly he viewed years earlier.
- A partially buried structure or base with a military character: defended, reactive, battle-hardened, with conflict tied to others trying to steal its technology.
- Strong pre-flood, Atlantean-type civilization impressions; a catastrophic geological event, a fall from grace, survivors scattered into a dark age, and a priest class carrying the stories forward through mythology.
- Sketches included a lion figure with pyramids behind it, prompting discussion of a possible original Sphinx and Leo-era astronomical alignments; Graham Hancock's work referenced in-session.
- Post-feedback, flagged his "requires modern technology to detect" data as the strongest candidate for genuine target contact, matching the object's telescope-only status at the time.

### **Dick Allgire**

- An assembly inside a structure; a person in a contorted posture as if affected by an external force.
- Ritual content: an intentionally summoned energy discharge received with ecstasy, special garments, and a physical structure acting as a focusing device for energy, light, sound, and frequency.
- Recurring solar flare and coronal mass ejection imagery, including an overlay of a political leader turning and reacting.
- A fast, snake-like, non-physical entity striking without warning; a hybrid bird-human-bat form attaching to a person through a lower chakra; judged in-session as dark and malevolent.
- Engraved tablets, an original stone set duplicated in gold, hidden "real rules," and an indigenous ceremony under a night sky.
- The craft moment of the debrief: an early, clear perception of the night sky with "motion and mass" moving through the solar system, in his words "pulled through space by a tractor beam" and "guided at a great distance by some exotic form of transmission. The precision is amazing." He recognized the likely target mid-session, concluded current-events targets invite pollution, set the data aside, and submitted double-blind with a full chain of custody prior to feedback.

### **Nyiam Vendryes**

- Session one: mechanical low-level data; grinding, chains, beams, a turning shaft penetrating a surface; smoke, grease, oil; a large structure tied to land; a rural "farm boy" figure with ginger hair, fields, and crops.
- Session two: a lost-and-found, discovery theme; technology out of place or ahead of its time; a rounded, sleek, glossy, rotating structure; downward movement; crash-landing ideation; salvage and collection.
- Session three: a blocky, skinny, not-human figure with antenna-like protrusions and a bright white light; timid, shy, high-pitched screech; bystanders witnessing something they would take to the grave; coverup, retracing steps, sterilizing; framed as a warning sign, omen, or foreshadowing of destruction.
- Post-feedback, reduced his own data to "some object moving through the sky impacting the Earth," noted the official position that it will not impact, and said he doubts anything like his sketched being exists.

### Analyst Synthesis

Five corroborated themes across the four blind sessions:

1. An ancient, lost civilization or origin (all four viewers).
2. A catastrophic event, destruction, or abandonment (Nyiam, Edward, Dick).
3. A powerful energy, entity, or force (all four viewers).
4. A structure or object: buried, landed, or used to harness and manipulate energy (all four viewers).
5. Human interaction, worship, and consequences (Nyiam, Dick, Daz).

### Findings vs. Interpretation

- The analyst stated plainly that the collective data does not read like an ordinary celestial body in a literal, astronomical sense.
- Read literally, Nyiam's sessions align with the technological hypothesis Loeb has floated: mechanical structure, descent, non-human figure, witnesses, cleanup.
- Read conservatively, every major theme also maps onto the public conversation already circulating at tasking time: craft claims, possession imagery, flood-myth material, and prophecy content.
- Team consensus on camera: the data is ambiguous. No one on the team is advocating an impact event or an alien-arrival narrative, and multiple viewers flagged portions of their own sessions as suspect.

### Probabilistic Read

- Strongest candidates for genuine target contact: Dick's early night-sky and guided-mass data with his mid-session target identification, and Edward's "only detectable with high-end technology" gestalt, which matched the object's observational status at the time.
- Weakest ground: the entity and ritual content, which the viewers themselves flagged as likely overlay or noise.
- The open variable the team named directly: social media saturation as a contamination vector on current-events targets.

### Method and Craft Notes

- Dick's stated position: prudent viewers do not task whatever is dominating the news cycle, because the mind starts writing the story before the pen moves. He cited Hale-Bopp in 1997, including the Heaven's Gate tragedy and the companion-object claims of that era, as the standing lesson for the field.
- Group agreement: targets nobody has heard of tend to run cleaner than targets everyone is arguing about.
- Dimi held the analysis conservative on stated grounds: with high-strangeness data across all four viewers, weaving one dramatic narrative together would have been easy, and wrong.

### Where the Public Record Stands Now
