Hello FFG Community, 

With heavy hearts, our community marks the passing of Dr. Richard Alan Miller, affectionately known for decades as "Dr. RAM," who died on September 14, 2026, at the age of 82.

Dr. Miller stood at a rare crossroads where hard laboratory physics, altered states, intelligence-adjacent research, and practical earth-level self-reliance converged. 

To many outside independent research circles, he was an unforgettable, singular voice on late-night broadcasts and alternative conferences. To those who followed his work closely, he was an early theorist of non-local mind who spent over half a century insisting that consciousness and biological systems operate on lawful electrodynamic principles.

Within our community, Dr. Miller was widely read, discussed, and deeply respected. Michael held Dr. Miller in especially high regard and noted that he was the last living scientist of the Majestic 12\. Whether someone came to his catalog through his peer-reviewed holographic biology papers, his early remote viewing and psi induction surveys, or his manuals on botanical agriculture, Dr. Miller challenged students to test assumptions and build personal competence. 

For those unfamiliar with Dr. RAM, or for those who would like to revisit some of the things he brought to the world, here is a brief synopsis: 

## **A Life Across Disciplines**

Dr. Richard Alan Miller began his scientific career in physics and engineering, graduating from Washington State University in 1966 and working with DuPont and Boeing before turning toward psychoenergetics, consciousness monitoring, and applied paraphysics in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Over five decades, he built an extensive body of work spanning theoretical papers, field manuals, and community projects.

### **Foundational Theoretical Work in Consciousness and Physics**

- In 1973, alongside co-authors Burt Webb and Darden Dickson, Dr. Miller co-authored *A Holographic Concept of Reality*, presented at the First Psychotronic Conference in Prague and subsequently published in *Psychoenergetic Systems* (1975) and reprinted in Stanley Krippner's 1979 anthology. The paper framed biological organization as an electrodynamic field and provided an early model for non-local mind.
- His companion 1973 paper, *Embryonic Holography*, extended this model into biogenesis and morphogenesis, exploring cellular communication through coherent field effects.
- With K. Elmendorff, he published "The Physical Mechanisms in Kirlian Photography" in Krippner's *The Energies of Consciousness* (1975), grounding high-voltage photography in biophysical mechanisms.
- His later work synthesized these concepts in *The Non-Local Mind in a Holographic Universe*, while longtime mentor Stanley Krippner recognized him across decades as an authentic pioneer of applied paranormal research.

- Beginning in the early 1970s, Dr. Miller explored protocols for enhancing psi performance through structured self-hypnosis and state control, arguing that human perceptual baselines could be trained and stabilized rather than treated as random talent.
- He formalized this framework in *ESP Induction Through Forms of Self-Hypnosis*, detailing methods to lower somatic noise and increase signal capture across altered states.
- In September 1975, Dr. Miller won the first Psychic Tournament hosted by Llewellyn Publications, testing his operational protocols against 40 contenders.
- Through his work with Mankind Research Unlimited (MRU) under Dr. Carl Schleicher, where he served as Northwest Regional Director, he tracked investigations into biophysics, psychoenergetics, and instrumentation.

### **Remote Viewing and Carrier Mechanisms**

- In 2003, Dr. Miller and co-author Iona Miller published "ESP, Hypnosis, Paraphysics, and Remote Viewing" through the Organization for the Advancement of Knowledge (OAK), analyzing the SRI research lineage (Puthoff, Targ, Swann) and the military Stargate effort.
- He argued for specific physical and environmental carrier mechanisms, focusing heavily on extremely low frequency (ELF) propagation and Schumann resonance synchronization as physiological interfaces for non-local information retrieval.
- He served on the editorial board of the *Journal of Non-Local and Remote Mental Interactions* for its July 2003 remote viewing special issue, engaging research alongside figures such as Joseph McMoneagle, Fred Alan Wolf, and Matti Pitkänen.
- Across his interviews and courses, he emphasized the critical methodological differences distinguishing structured coordinate remote viewing from spontaneous astral projection, dreaming states, and uncalibrated trance work.

### **From the Laboratory to the Soil**

- In parallel with physics and psi research, Dr. Miller founded Northwest Botanicals and authored foundational commercial manuals including *The Potential of Herbs as a Cash Crop*, *Native Plants of Commercial Importance*, and *The Magical and Ritual Use of Herbs*.
- His final agricultural initiatives centered on American Heritage Farms and the *Sustainable Lifeboat™* concept, advocating that theoretical understanding of consciousness is incomplete without tangible regional food sovereignty, water security, and localized economic resilience.

## **In Memoriam**

Dr. Miller's family has confirmed that he will be buried at Evergreen Washelli in North Seattle, Washington. In keeping with his lifelong spirit of utility and service, he chose to donate his eyes to Lions Vision.

We extend our deepest condolences to his sister Donna, his extended family, collaborators, and the global network of students who learned from his mind and his books.
