Censorship Hits Home – Our Plan to Keep the Conversations Going

Hey FFG Family,

I hope this finds you well, even with everything swirling out there. I wanted to give you a straight, heads-up update on something we’ve been dealing with quietly for a while now.

You’ve probably noticed a few of our Dr. Scottie sessions and Founders Conversations have disappeared from Vimeo over the last couple of weeks. Some of you have asked in the comments or DMs. The short answer is: Vimeo sent us formal notices that certain videos violated their terms and conditions. They gave us 15 days to remove them or risk account termination.

In a handful of cases, they didn’t wait and pulled the videos themselves. That’s why some links suddenly went dead and the embeds stopped working. We’ve already complied with the takedown requests, but it’s become clear that the platform is tightening the leash on anything that doesn’t fit their current comfort zone. This isn’t new… censorship pressure has been building since the COVID era. But now, it’s hit a point where we need to protect our ability to keep delivering the unfiltered conversations you value.

So here’s what we’re doing:

We’ve already begun migrating the Dr. Scottie and Founders Conversations segments to a different hosting platform with more open policies. The move is underway, and we’re prioritizing those two series first because they contain some of the most direct, no-holds-barred discussions we do.

Longer term, we’re seriously considering shifting our entire video library over. That’s a big lift with thousands of hours of content, so it will take time. In the meantime, there may be brief disruptions as we re-upload and relink content, or if Vimeo terminates our account. We’ll keep you posted every step of the way.

Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us. If a video you’re looking for is missing, shoot me a quick note or reply here—I’ll point you to the new home as soon as it’s live.

We’re in this together. The road ahead might get bumpier, but the view is worth it.

Onward,

Jordan
