The Dollar Won't Die. It Will Be Swapped.

On October 28, 2026, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation turned on a service that mints digital twins of the securities in its custody, more than $114 trillion of them, including US Treasuries, convertible into tokenized form and deployable as collateral within minutes. Nobody called it a digital dollar. Bank of America, whose 2022 research note still circulates as a warning that one is coming, is on the launch roster.

The question is usually framed wrong. People ask when the dollar dies, or when Washington issues a digital currency. Congress banned the retail version through 2030, and the rails went live anyway. The better question is what replaces the dollar, and who sets the terms of the swap.

Future Forecasting Group viewers have worked that theme across six blind datasets spanning seven years, from the 2019 Crypto Viewing dollar sessions to this month's map of Europe's new payment rails. The through-line: the existing currency is drained and decoupled, then converted into a tokenized successor on infrastructure built in advance.

The team's April 2020 review verified the first phase in real time. This week, the US settlement layer began running on exactly that kind of rail.

Datasets in this analysis

Why this package exists

Most outlets treat the CBDC ban, the stablecoin boom, the Fed turnover, and Europe's payment consolidation as separate stories. This team has been tasked on the theme for seven years, under blind conditions, across two organizational eras. The datasets describe one story told in stages, and the first stage already has a verification checkpoint on the record.

2019: Death of the Dollar Sessions

Recorded 6/28/2019

Recorded 6/30/2019

Recorded 7/01/2019

  • Tasking asked for the trajectory of the US dollar and what cryptocurrencies do in the moment the dollar fails. Viewers were blind; the targeting documents made no reference to the death of the dollar.
  • Daz's ideograms were jagged and erratic, unlike anything he had produced in 24 years of practice. His data: "flat, dead, stopped, drained, demoralized," and "this feels like death, a low point."
  • Daz's movement pattern, the single most quoted page from this era: a medium-term rise, then a solid drop that is hard, then a short-lived recovery, then a massive re-drop, a slight correction, a new low, and then flat for a long period.
  • Daz on cause: chaos and problems "brought about or exacerbated by the news or media," a surprise event that catches many people, with AOLs of "war" and "war zone."
  • Dick's pre-session imagery: the Tower Bridge and Tower of London area with crowds demonstrating and rioting; flashing numbers and dates he could not hold without breaking state; Donald Trump in formal wear holding out his hand; the G7 falling apart, bickering into hostility and possibly open warfare; the word "abdication," a change of leadership structure.
  • Dick's formal session: a mob turning over a vehicle, tear gas, civil unrest, "it becomes like Venezuela, but it's a Western democracy."
  • Dick on place: a large, congested, unhealthy city on a river that "was a financial center." Past tense.
  • Dick on environment: a brownish, dirty cloud hanging over a widespread area, "not a single local source," eventually described as hemisphere-sized.
  • Dick on infrastructure: data flowing into a central hub; quantum, non-silicon computing; and a central clearing point "tracking all the blockchains simultaneously."
  • Dick's line that anchors this entire package: "The system switching on. This is replacing fiat. This is digital money, blockchain being switched on to replace fiat money."
  • Dick's closing imagery: a scripted male leader, possibly Trump, broadcasting live to a frightened crowd to gain trust, then leaving in an armored limo under encrypted radio traffic.
  • Michael's debrief framing: the Jekyll Island product at the end of its life cycle, and the marker that when a worldwide broadcast like that airs, the old financial system is gone. The era's preparedness commentary pointed viewers at crypto literacy, which reads as period context rather than current advice.

2019: US Dollar, World Financial Markets 2019-2025

  • Dick flagged the cue on the record as too broad, a craft note the team kept. His session still produced bank and credit union imagery: people "around the block on the street trying to get cash," fear and distrust at the counters.
  • Dick's institutional imagery: a financial hub with streets at odd angles and occult symbols, and a tall, brown, imposing building with a rounded top, an "operational center with transnational global reach, orchestrating and managing money flows." In-debrief, the team matched the sketch to the Wells Fargo headquarters in Charlotte.
  • Dick's mechanism data: the term "velocity of money" at a desk of flashing displays, then "computers at war," microsecond algorithms trying to outsmart each other until they seize, which he described afterward as a cascading failure of too much conflicting data.
  • Dick's timeline: roughly four to five years out. From June 2019, that lands in 2023-2024.
  • Daz's session: a cerebral man on retreat, mulling a future problem; ancient stone and tribal land with a ledger feel; then a destructive, fast wave motion he guessed as "tsunami." His timeline ran roughly seven to eight years. From June 2019, that lands in 2026-2027, directly on the window the later datasets keep marking.
  • Edward's session: a forested mountain facility, an industrial vehicle with a load inside a structure, tired workers doing heavy lifting, and machinery ripping or pulling something open at large scale. His nuke and radiation guesses stayed unresolved and are flagged as open, low-confidence data.
  • Dennis flagged the Rai stone ledger parallel in-debrief: an ancient currency of immovable stones tracked by ledger, a forerunner concept for blockchain.

April 2020: the first checkpoint

  • The team reconvened during the COVID onset to review the prior year's look-ahead data. The original sessions had been worked blind; this review is the chain-of-custody document for phase one.
  • Edward's October 2019 target Z5P1V0W1, tasked on what brings the adoption and transition to a digital currency: China and the Great Wall, a "great divide," and drawn sprouts he described as "grown in a lab," followed by full bodies. In April 2020 the team read the sprout sketches against the coronavirus imagery then saturating the news.
  • Daz's June 2019 dollar data, revisited: the flatline, the chaos, the war AOL, and a timeline that had the event kicking pace in 2020 and running into 2022. His July 2019 follow-up had an explosion, metaphorical or real, with fallout and displaced people: starting before six months (around November 2019), peaking near twelve months (mid-2020), with ripple effects twenty-four months beyond.
  • Dick's aggregated 2019 sketches: deserted cities, curfews, urgent and frantic sentiment, "someone needs to be the adult in the room," and higher authority weighing what can and cannot be controlled, nudging a tipping point. One chart had summer 2020 blacked out.
  • Dick's forward data from that era, quoted in the review: "Resettling people. ID money. Welfare on the blockchain. Digital blockchain food stamps." This was weeks before US stimulus design became a public fight.
  • Dick's Congress imagery: emergency meetings, shock and disbelief, "a journey for the last time, transfer of power." He had also named Jerome Powell in-session with "survival mode, self-preservation... preservation of wealth," matched in the review to a same-day New York Times piece on Powell and Mnuchin running the economic rescue.
  • Edward's K8D3 (August 2019): price-index worry, board meetings in Manhattan, a specific corporation in trouble, money missing, bailouts, and "a precursor of a big money problem." Then: "a loss of independence... an older system is taken over," with stress ending and business continuing twelve to fourteen months out.
  • Edward's Q8Z1 (a person target, undisclosed): a man ousted while others watch, "there is someone waiting right now in the wings, ready to take over," with "potential violence during the reorganization," and the rebuild "working like a machine" around twenty-one months out.
  • Team commentary from April 2020, kept as commentary: UK shops already refusing cash, "present your papers" checkpoints, and Ed's read that only blockchain-compliant companies survive the coming merger and takeover wave.

October 2025: Death of the Euro

  • The target package noted the ECB's digital euro preparation phase ran November 2023 to October 2025, concluding the day of recording, with a 2025 decision point and earliest launch in 2028. It also covered legislation protecting cash as legal tender and the absence of any formal eurozone exit mechanism.
  • Edward objected to the "death of the euro" framing on the record as leading tasking, then noted his own session matched the neutral sub-cue: the switchover. That exchange is kept as a craft note.
  • Daz: frantic, panicked downward movement, a three-step drop with two semi-recoveries, a dollar-sign or bitcoin-like logo he could not resolve, an AOL of "Fall of Usher," the word "extinction," and "predetermined," with "it's going to happen" double-underlined. His read on timing: the big drop possibly within the year, drawn out from 2025 into 2026-2028 before recovery, "if at all." His closing note: "However much I try, I can't see anything past the decline."
  • Edward: a central monetary hub with a Federal Reserve feel, policy "enforced," a sealed letter with IRS weight, and a complex web of agencies with the US dollar as "the main connecting ingredient." Pull one part and the house of cards could come down.
  • Edward's switchover data: a timeline for departments to change or upgrade, digital rails, AI cutting redundancy (he noted the government shutdown that day), "the big switchover," middlemen removed, and "an attempt at stability like the use of stablecoins." He wrote "stablecoin usage and debt" and "debt backed stablecoins," plus "the revaluation of gold" and a global exchange rate notion.
  • Edward on wealth distribution, the second sub-cue: a digital crossover and transfer of wealth, "own more early or own less later," and the risk of being priced out. On power: shifting financial hubs, the Fed as an outside force with "loyalties beyond the shorelines like London," a coming revelation of where loyalties lie, and "people waking up from a dream." His timeline: first half of 2027, significant aspects in 2027-28, 2030, and "firmly in place" in the 2032-2035 era.
  • Nyiam: actuaries and risk calculations that are not working; a male leader or CEO "mastermind" type making reckless decisions behind a smug public facade, in conflict with advisors. Then a big red down arrow, people turning their backs and walking away, dwindling interest, and a clash of belief systems.
  • Nyiam's institutional imagery: a culpable financial institution squeezed from every direction, criticized no matter the move. His human imagery: a person pulling their hair out at a screen, a collapse or bankruptcy feel, "no coming back," even suicidal. A leader in that position "would lose your position."
  • Nyiam's wealth-transfer data: a separate timeline point of wealth, abundance, and jackpot, benefitting a smaller group who "get wealthier" from the bad situation. Plus a long paper trail and a scramble to hide and shred documents, and a smiling billionaire mover with a "Zuckerberg" or Rothschild-level feel who gets to rethink and reformulate.
  • Dick: a meeting of at least three men of power, ministers and trade reps with translators, treaties, contracts, and signatories. Puzzle pieces that must all fit, which his subconscious resolved at the whiteboard as the map of Europe.
  • Dick's mechanism: the debt clock and unfunded liabilities; paper assets and debt "washed, transferred to a new clean asset class"; "financial sleight of hand"; "a form of high level high tech asset money laundering." His chart: severe decline, a crash, then a rebound to new highs, with the word "rehypothecation" arriving unbidden.
  • Dick on the skim: "Now you see it, now you don't," a portion of money written off, but "it will actually go into someone's pocket."
  • Dick on the switch: one system has an interruption, possibly a cyber attack or a mass-exit freeze-up, gets segregated, and "a new system that cannot be corrupted by the legacy data" comes online. His descriptors: "clean, digital, sanitary, blockchain." His closing imagery: destruction among financial people, stock people, fund managers, flagged by Dick as possibly metaphoric.
  • Marty's guest commentary (market commentary, not session data): the dollar index finding support at 96; a euro failure sending money west into US markets; gold at all-time highs around 3,900 and eyeing 4,000 with FOMO dynamics, while banks refuse it as collateral; his theory that a controlled token could absorb the debt and then have the pin pulled; and his sequence: Europe falls, the dollar falls, eventually gold and silver fall, and "the only thing left really will be this pure digital currency," with the open question of decentralized versus government-controlled.

US Digital Dollar Future Timeline

  • Tasking assumed a US digital dollar and asked for its implementation and evolution, plus the Treasury and Fed roles. Dick disclosed partial front-loading (financial aspects) in-session.
  • Daz: a valuable product or service with big problems coming; shortages causing restrictions; 2026 more fluid but with new problems that feel "too little, too late," coming to a head around April-June. Infrastructure feel: physical product moving across borders with distribution problems. Two words he says he has never produced in RV work: "embargo," with a USA flavor, and "blockade," broken down as force, limitations, barricades, borders. Late 2026 as a downward spiral, a manipulated and created situation with huge global impact, and then "not viable": gone, broken, closed shop, job losses, bankruptcies, not enough money, no production. Economic war rather than solid war, official and lawlike, with a computer-component flavor at the end (an AOL of Nvidia).
  • Edward's core gesture: unwinding, unraveling, decoupling. One thing becomes two. His comparisons: silver-to-gold, altcoins-to-Bitcoin, a currency unwind, and "a broken tether, even like a USDT." The separation destabilizes what remains, a house-of-cards effect.
  • Edward's mechanism: a piece actively removed by a force or body; liquidity "pulled, removed, relocated, resettled" into choppy waters and large waves. The unwind falls into "paper, financial products or legacy bound products," with the phrase "holding too much paper" and open questions about backing and debt holdings.
  • Edward's December 2026 marker: the issue well known by then, active resettling under way, and Asian participation (Japan, South Korea, even China) moving through the event strongly enough to reach headlines. Then rejection and replacement, the stack dismantled and reshaped, a currency with "a new look, a new purpose," and the phrase that aged best: "the stablecoin option or solution." End state: stabilization.
  • Nyiam: a fist slammed on a desk; a manicured corporate or federal structure with fiscal-year weight; mega-corporation takeover, debt crisis, tariffs. An older wealthy male at board level, ruthless, with the word "prestitute" attached. Then the audit scene: a person at a computer with someone watching over their shoulder, nervous and shaken, rechecking old documents, balance sheets, historical records, money wires, "gut-wrenching."
  • Nyiam's fallout data: a financial forecast presented to a small audience with a conspiratorial "they're against us" feel; the cup overflowing past its upper limit; frantic consulting; a legal or financial plot twist, "how do we get out of this in one piece." Consolation imagery, an arm around a shoulder, and the phrase "the house of cards falls down." His timeline: late 2026 or early 2027. Household level: debt pressure, defaults, foreclosures, empty hands.
  • Dick: an oil and natural gas shock, pipeline disruption, mining, rare earths, hydrogen technology. Machinery, pits, aggregate, manufacturing, power generation, and a curved array of AI computer chips. A side thread on cells dividing in a controlled medium stayed unresolved.
  • Dick's flow chart, the dataset's signature page: raw materials come together with human labor, energy is applied, manufactured things result, and then they are "tokenized" and "tracked by AI."
  • Dick on the break: "things that were connected or pegged, break their bonds," "the big haircut," "revaluation," "paper promises are not redeemable," "the regrouping." Then the game board: pieces pulled off, rearranged, some assets consolidated, others liquidated, "a game board that looks nothing like the old game board," where "raw materials, brute force, hard work give way to data and energy." Dick stated low confidence on parts of this session, which is noted for the record.
  • Post-reveal discussion, kept separate from blind data: Dick's contrarian read that Trump had banned the CBDC by executive order, that "before Christmas, there will be a new head of the Federal Reserve," and that the tasking may have been "essentially a null target," with viewers surfing to the closest matching event. Daz allowed that his "not viable" data could be the CBDC concept being brushed off the table. The team discussed Tether hiring Bo Hines, and RLUSD came up. Daz's expectation of "the biggest financial crash" within twelve months was stated as his personal market analysis, not RV data, and is labeled that way.

October 2026: Project Wero

  • Derek opened on scale: a structure representing "a paradigm shift in markets," the foundation itself changing, rolled out through "strategically released news points across formal and informal channels." His summary: "it's just the beginning, few can see it, but it's inevitable."
  • Derek's orchestrators: a high-profile figure flown in by helicopter for a red-carpet address; a wealthy older couple, known in financial circles, who keep limousine talk to small talk because they assume monitoring, and who "toe the line" because they are "expendable and easily replaceable."
  • Derek's implication data: "This will affect you regardless of where you are or what you do. It'll seem sudden, like a surprise, but has been meticulously planned with every contingency thought out... like watching grandmasters playing chess." Plus an espionage thread: figures searching an office while a third party records them, deal-making moved to smoking areas and off-the-record spaces.
  • Bryan's summit: a controlled sanctuary near deep blue water, arrivals by helicopter under security, bug checks, SCIF-like isolation, diplomats, presidents, and billionaires "deciding the next move." He estimated a 16-member backing consortium; the tasking figure is 18.
  • Bryan's absorption data: existing domestic networks "outright bought up or absorbed," regulatory exclusion for holdouts, "everything is counted, an asset that includes other assets," old infrastructure torn down under government initiative, with displaced locals and farmer-style protests. His Americas thread: oil-rig buildout and extraction hubs tied to Venezuela and a North-South American resource consolidation.
  • Evan's institutional engine: archives and "the old playbook" dusted off, documents digitized, constructive mid-level consensus, final blessing taken "to the big man" after hours, then a deliberately modest public face: two podiums, five ribboned shovels, a rollout "mainly for media consumption" that grows quietly afterward. His generational pair, an irreplaceable veteran data specialist and a phone-native intern who "cuts his teeth," reads as the old-system-to-new-system handoff.
  • Post-reveal analysis, kept separate: Derek's near-miss guess (a paper-to-digital-only shift where cash goes black market) and Evan's assessment that the rollout succeeds, arrives underwhelming, then becomes the default.

Where the data meets the public record

  • The CBDC is banned. Senate passage June 22, 2026, House June 23, banning a Fed retail CBDC through December 31, 2030, with explicit Congressional authorization required after. Treasury Secretary Bessent called the digital dollar "off the table" in May 2026. Dick's null-target flag and Daz's "not viable" data called this shape in advance.
  • The replacement arrived as private, Treasury-backed stablecoin infrastructure. The GENIUS Act (July 2025) created what Bessent called "a pathway to reinforce the US dollar's global reserve currency status," with his projection of stablecoins growing from roughly $250B to $3.7T by decade's end as structural Treasury buyers. USAT launched January 2026: Treasury-backed, issued by Anchorage Digital under a national trust charter, reserves custodied at Cantor Fitzgerald, led by the former head of the White House crypto council. Edward's "stablecoin option or solution" and "debt backed stablecoins," and Dick's "new game board," sit directly on this.
  • The board was rearranged. Kevin Warsh confirmed as Fed Chair on May 13, 2026; Stephen Miran joined the board September 15, 2025; Powell (April 2026) and Cook (March 2026) departed. Dick's in-session call of a new Fed head verified in direction; his "before Christmas" timing ran a few months early.
  • The euro's stress is real and unfinished. EUR/USD around 1.15-1.16, French debt near 116% of GDP with spreads widening, and the digital euro on a 2027 pilot and 2029 launch path per current ECB guidance. Daz's drawn-out decline and Edward's significant 2027-28 window match the shape; the "extinction" marker stays open.
  • Gold's revaluation arrived. Edward's euro-session phrase against gold's run through 4,000 in October 2025 and three straight years of central-bank buying above 1,000 tonnes. The BRICS gold-backed "Unit" pilot makes the 2019 BRICS-abandonment tasking a live question.
  • WERO is real, funded, and consolidating exactly as Bryan's absorption data described: roughly 58-60 million registered users and 48,000+ merchants as of autumn 2026, e-commerce live in Germany, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands (October 26, 2026), German in-store payments targeted for June 2027, Giropay, Paylib, and Payconiq retired or retiring, iDEAL under mandatory migration with full retirement targeted for end-2027, and the EuroPA/"European Network for Payments" hub folding Bizum, Bancomat, MB WAY, and Vipps MobilePay into one entity covering roughly 130 million users across 13 countries.
  • The digital-euro link is semi-official: a Bundesbank board member publicly floated integrating the digital euro into the Wero wallet in August 2026, ahead of the ECB's September 2027 pilot. The sovereignty motive is stated, not inferred: EPI's CEO told Reuters in March 2026 that fears of the US administration are accelerating merchant adoption.
  • Token-level references discussed across these datasets, for the record: Bitcoin (the 2019 "golden globe" and Daz's logo confusion), USDT (Edward's "broken tether" comparison and the Tether/Bo Hines discussion), RLUSD (mentioned in-session), and XRP (Marty's absorption theory, his commentary only). None of this is a recommendation; it is what the sessions and debriefs contained.
  • Still open and unverified: the late-2026 break window (Edward's December 2026 Asia marker, Daz's spiral, Nyiam's fallout timing); the worldwide leader broadcast; unequal conversion terms ("paper promises are not redeemable," "the big haircut," Marty's written-off portion "into someone's pocket"); the hair-pulling collapse event; the violence-during-reorganization marker; Edward's 2019 radiation guesses; Daz's in-passing comment about missiles and the City of London, which we hope stays wrong.

The rails are live: DTCC turns on tokenized settlement (October 28, 2026)

  • What launched: DTC's Tokenization Service mints digital twins of DTC-custodied securities, convertible between traditional and tokenized form, delivered to users' digital wallets, with the same ownership rights and investor protections. The scale is the story: $114 trillion in custody, $4.7 quadrillion processed in 2025.
  • Who is on it: 20 participants at launch, including Bank of America, Citi, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, State Street, Fidelity, UBS, Barclays, BNP Paribas and Citadel Securities. More than 150 firms shaped the design. DTCC's own framing: the industry is moving "beyond experimentation and toward practical adoption."
  • Regulatory path: a December 2025 SEC no-action letter authorizing tokenization of Russell 1000 stocks, major-index ETFs and US Treasury securities; roughly seven months later, 30-plus firms completed limited-production on-chain trades.
  • Networks: Canton Network and DTCC's private Besu network, with more chains in 2027. Advertised collateral mobility: minutes.

Why this lands on the thesis

  • The article's argument is that the US routes around the retail CBDC ban through private, regulated infrastructure. DTS is that path made visible at the settlement and collateral layer. The rail is no longer projected. It is operational.
  • Tokenized Treasuries are the collateral backbone of the Treasury-backed stablecoin model. Treasuries are now tokenizable inside the very system that custodies them.
  • The BofA loop closes: the bank whose 2022 note is still being sold as a digital-dollar warning is a launch participant in the actual thing, which arrived as market plumbing rather than a Fed coin.
  • The Europe contrast sharpens: Wero and the digital euro as public, state-sponsored rails against the largest securities depository on earth moving assets onto permissioned chains. Two blocs, two architectures, same destination.

Cross-session correlations

  • Edward's "debt backed stablecoins" and "an attempt at stability like the use of stablecoins" now have a concrete mechanism: tokenized Treasuries functioning as system collateral.
  • Dick's "rehypothecation" impression, "something is used as collateral to shore up another asset. It converts," reads structurally like the digital-twin conversion and rapid collateral redeployment DTS is built to sell.
  • Dick's "debts and assets on the surface in disarray... come out the other end orderly and neat" matches the pattern of legacy securities re-issued into a new digital asset class without the old system visibly breaking. Whether the parallel structure he described is preparation, insurance, or coincidence stays an open question.

What this does not confirm

  • This is infrastructure, not an event. It says nothing about the timing of any crash, interruption, or switchover scenario from the sessions.
  • It is not a digital dollar and does not reverse the CBDC ban. It routes around the ban, which is what makes it consistent with the thesis rather than against it.

The synthesis: what six datasets describe as one event

  1. Phase one was the catalyst. In 2019 the viewers described a surprise event, chaos, and a flatline. The April 2020 review checked that phase against the pandemic in real time, on the record.
  2. The drain is slow, then sudden. Daz's 2019 pattern (rise, hard drop, short recovery, re-drop, new low, long flat) tracks the policy-rescue era: each recovery shorter, each intervention larger.
  3. The switchover is the constant gesture. 2019's "system switching on, replacing fiat," the euro session's "big switchover" and "clean, digital, sanitary, blockchain," the digital dollar session's restacking into "the stablecoin option," and WERO's rails are four independent descriptions of one move.
  4. The terms are set by the architects. "Paper promises are not redeemable," "the big haircut," debt "washed" into a new clean asset class, "own more early or own less later." The swap's pricing is the risk variable to track, and it will not arrive labeled as a haircut.
  5. The board was rearranged to execute it. CBDC banned, stablecoin law signed, Fed leadership replaced, European payments consolidated by acquisition. Dick's "game board rearranged" in administrative form.
  6. The ledger migrates toward hard assets and energy. Edward's "revaluation of gold," Dick's "data and energy" replacing "raw materials, brute force, hard work," tokenized production tracked by AI.
  7. The world partitions into payment blocs. US stablecoin rails, EU sovereign rails under Wero and the digital euro, China's e-CNY, a BRICS settlement unit. The 2019 G7-breakup and "abdication" imagery reads as the geopolitical layer of the same partition.

Timeline convergence across datasets

  • 2019 tasking windows: Dick's four to five years (2023-2024) and Daz's seven to eight years (2026-2027), measured from June 2019.
  • 2020-2022: Daz's chaos and ripple years, confirmed in shape by the April 2020 review.
  • 2023-2025: build-out. Digital euro preparation phase (November 2023 to October 2025), GENIUS Act, stablecoin expansion, gold repricing.
  • Late 2026: the break and public-awareness window. Three viewers on the digital dollar session, plus Daz's euro drop "coming soon" from October 2025, plus Daz's 2019 seven-to-eight-year marker landing here.
  • 2027-2028: reconstruction. Digital euro pilot and launch window, Wero in-store rollout (June 2027), iDEAL retirement (end-2027), Edward's significant 2027-28 aspects.
  • 2030-2035: Edward's "firmly in place" era (2032-35), with the US CBDC ban expiring at the end of 2030 as a decision gate.

Probabilistic read

  • Highest-probability synthesis: the dollar is transitioned rather than killed in place. The vehicle is regulated, Treasury-backed tokenized dollars, with stablecoin issuance functioning as a structural buyer of US debt.
  • The "death" the 2019 viewers described reads as the death of the paper-claim era: purchasing power drained in stages, then conversion into the new unit at terms set by the issuer. Speculation that they may not even know how many dollars exist anymore sits comfortably next to Nyiam's audit imagery and the "holding too much paper" data.
  • Confidence is highest on the replacement architecture and the sequencing, because four datasets converge on it. The late-2026 break window and any haircut or conversion event remain open and testable.

Monitor next

  1. DTCC Tokenization Service uptake: first published volumes, the 2027 network additions beyond Canton and Besu, and whether Treasury-backed stablecoin issuers or money market funds begin using DTS-minted collateral directly. The October 28, 2026 launch converts this from a watch item into a scoreboard.
  2. December 2026: Edward's public-awareness and Asia-headline window (Japan's rate normalization, South Korea's CBDC pilot, China's e-CNY expansion are the live candidates), alongside Daz's late-2026 spiral and Nyiam's late-2026/early-2027 fallout timing.
  3. GENIUS Act rulemaking: the OCC stablecoin framework targeted for November 2026, and the July 2028 restrictions on noncompliant stablecoins as a conversion-pressure date.
  4. USAT and USDC reserve disclosures, Cantor custody reporting, and any escalation of the Tether/Hines investigation reported October 15, 2026.
  5. Any formal Warsh-era Treasury-Fed coordination framework: the administrative form of the "new game board."
  6. Eurozone stress: French spreads, the ECB's digital euro pilot decision path, and any use of the word "restructuring" from Brussels.
  7. Wero in-store/NFC rollout (Germany, June 2027), the iDEAL retirement deadline (end-2027), EuroPA cross-border P2P going live, and any fee or access moves against Visa and Mastercard.
  8. A formal ECB decision on digital euro integration into the Wero wallet, expected around the September 2027 pilot.
  9. Gold's trajectory and the BRICS "Unit" settlement adoption as the hard-asset ledger Edward and Marty described from different chairs.
  10. Any official language about conversion terms, redemption tiers, or differential treatment of legacy dollars: the first public form of "paper promises are not redeemable."
  11. The 2019 markers that remain open: the worldwide leader broadcast, the seized algorithms, and Daz's seven-to-eight-year line, which expires on his own timeline around mid-2027.
