Re-Evaluating Favorites on The List: The Market Grew Up. Did Your Strategy?
There's a version of this market that a lot of people are still trading.
It's the version where everything is early, everything is speculative, and the biggest risk is missing the next 10x. It's the version where you buy something few people understand, hold through the chaos, and sell into the narrative when the masses finally arrive.
That version worked. And for a specific window of time — roughly 2015 to 2021 — it worked extraordinarily well.
But here's what we're seeing now, and what the data keeps confirming: that version of the market is not dead, but it has gotten a lot smaller. The assets that lived inside it are graduating — some into something better, some into something far less exciting than you might expect.
