Down the Rabbit Hole Project 2209, Week 3: The Team Is Circling Something

Three weeks into October's Down the Rabbit Hole, the blind target is starting to push back. Team lead Daz Smith opened the week three check-in with a read on where the monthly project stands: the viewers are past broad strokes, they are working detail now, and in his assessment a clear thread is emerging from the data.

Week three is where protocol discipline gets tested. Analytic overlay pressure peaks as the subconscious material firms up. Sessions come back with tasker feedback. Each viewer has to separate verifiable signal from noise while staying blind to the target and to each other's work. That process, done in the open, is what separates disciplined remote viewing from guesswork.

The team is close enough that Daz expects the data itself to start naming the target. October's cycle ends with either a week four session or the full debrief reveal.

Process Notes

Week three of the October cycle is complete, with three viewers submitting work and host Daz Smith reviewing each viewer's progress on camera. Per the Down the Rabbit Hole contamination lock, these notes cover process and protocol only.

Cadence

  • One target for October, weekly check-ins across the month.
  • The cycle closes with either a week four data session or the debrief reveal, depending on where the team lands.

Participation

  • Three viewers (Coral, Dennis, Susan) submitted sessions this week.
  • One viewer completed a fourth and fifth session after being sent back for another pass; one viewer reported working across multiple sessions to get clear of early noise.

Protocol watch

  • All viewers remain blind to the target and to each other's data.
  • Analytic overlay pressure was the dominant theme this week: one viewer described AOLs as overwhelming at this stage and is actively declaring naming-level intrusions rather than following them.
  • The verification discipline question came up directly: how to balance explorable impression material against data that can actually be verified, and consciously returning to physicals and tangibles.
  • Re-tasking is part of the loop: sessions come back with tasker feedback, and viewers go back in to expand specific prior work.

Host read

  • Daz's assessment: the viewers are honing in on detail and aspects of the target, and a clear thread is emerging.
  • He expects the team is close enough that the data may begin naming the target outright, and flagged that as the risk to manage heading into a possible week four.

Community and what comes next

  • Members following the series are invited to post their theories in the comments; Daz reads them and responds.
  • Next step: a week four session or the debrief reveal, where the October target is finally unmasked.

The real content this week is the craft itself: watching a blind team hold protocol under rising AOL pressure is the lesson. The check-in video shows it happening in real time.
